Using the NVC framework:
- Understand what you're feeling from the first page in this PDF.
- Understand what your met or unmet needs are from the 2nd page in the PDF
- Now, you understand what's going on within yourself.
- Next, understand what the other person is feeling
- And what their unmet needs are
- Then, reach out to them with an "I'd like to connect with you" request when the emotions are not high for either party "while the iron is cold"
- Then, work on creating new agreements to meet both your + their unmet needs
- Agreements only work when they work with both parties — they're not written in stone.
